Cyber Group “Hanzala” Claims Hack on Israeli Fuel System
WANA (Oct 10) – The cyber group Hanzala has announced that it has breached the core infrastructure of the Israeli fuel supply network and extracted a vast amount of sensitive data.
In its statement, the group declared: “This is not a warning — it is proof of your vulnerability. For too long, you have relied on your digital fortresses and a false sense of security, believing your secrets were safe behind firewalls and encrypted codes. Today, that illusion ends.”
According to the statement, the infiltration targeted the central systems of Delek, described as “the backbone of the Israeli fuel supply.” Hanzala claimed that “everything has been taken out”, listing the following data among the compromised materials:
- The complete customer database
- Classified military contracts
- Lists of undercover agent
- Every transaction and smart card entry
The group further asserted that personal information belonging to 650,000 customers—including names, phone numbers, email addresses, and unique identifiers—has been extracted and “will soon be publicly released.” Hanzala warned that, as a result, “anyone will now be able to impersonate your customers.”
Throughout the statement, the group used a sharply critical tone, accusing its target of overconfidence in its digital defenses. It emphasized that this operation was not merely a threat, but a demonstration meant to expose what it called “the illusion of security.”
Hanzala concluded its statement by warning that the exposure of such data could lead to widespread identity theft and operational disruption, declaring that “nothing has been left behind.”
