Israeli Regime Announces Reduction in Warning Time Before Iranian Missile Strikes
WANA (Jun 17) – The Israeli Home Front Command has issued an important update regarding changes to its missile alert protocol in the event of Iranian attacks.
The statement reads: “Due to recent developments, it is likely that missile strike warnings will no longer be issued 30 minutes prior to launch. If a warning is received, the estimated time for its issuance will be approximately 10 minutes—or possibly even less—before the potential impact.”
Reports suggest that this adjustment is linked to changes in IRGC operational tactics, as well as a depletion of Israel’s interceptor missile reserves following recent Iranian ballistic missile attacks.
Destruction of 28 Hostile Targets / Precise Downing of Hermes Drone by Air Defense
WANA (Jun 17) – The Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran announced in a statement (7:00 pm local time) :
“The brave personnel of Iran’s air defense, utilizing radar systems, surveillance units, electronic interception, missile and artillery systems, successfully detected, tracked, and destroyed multiple hostile targets.
In a confrontation with hostile aircraft, an enemy Hermes spy drone attempting to gather intelligence from sensitive locations was detected, tracked, and precisely shot down by air defense forces.”
Eight Missiles Fired by Iran / Israeli Defense Systems Unable to Track Incoming Missiles
WANA (Jun 17) – News agencies report a new wave of Iranian missile attacks on Israel. Reports suggest that Israel’s air defense has struggled to intercept the Iranian missiles — it appears the system is unable to detect them at all.
Israeli media have acknowledged that the U.S.-made THAAD missile defense system is also being used to intercept Iranian missiles targeting the occupied territories.
The Israeli regime is making every effort to censor news about the destruction caused by Iranian missile strikes on the occupied territories.
WhatsApp Collecting Iranian Users’ Data and Sharing with Israel
WANA (Jun 17) – According to reports, WhatsApp is allegedly collecting users’ information, including their last known location and communication details, and sharing it with Israeli authorities.
Iran’s state media urged citizens to uninstall the app from their phones to protect themselves.
Iran: Command Structure Planned 10 Layers Deep; Assassinations Will Not Disrupt Operations
WANA (Jun 17) – A senior informed source in the Islamic Republic of Iran told the media: “Given that the Israeli regime designs and carries out its operations against Iran based on ‘assassinations,’ the Islamic Republic has drawn on its experience from the Iran–Iraq War to implement precise strategies and measures for managing sensitive and security-related centers. As part of these measures, succession plans have been put in place for up to ten levels of leadership and command in certain key facilities. Therefore, no disruption has occurred — or will occur — in critical operations as a result of potential assassinations.”
The source added: “Preventive and protective actions have also been swiftly implemented. In this regard, the Cyber Security Command has banned officials and their security teams from using any devices connected to public communication and telecommunication networks.”
Iran Warns Europe Over Israeli Attacks in Gulf
WANA (Jun 17) – Iran’s Foreign Minister, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, warned European nations that Israel’s attacks on Iranian oil facilities in the Persian Gulf are part of efforts to expand the war. In a phone call with Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski, Araghchi condemned Israel’s attacks on civilian and nuclear infrastructure and called on the UN and global governments to hold Israel accountable.
Araghchi also highlighted the threat to regional and global security, urging European countries to take a firm stance against these violations. Sikorski expressed concern over escalating tensions and emphasised the need for de-escalation to avoid further instability.

IRGC Statement No. 6 — Operation True Promise 3
WANA (Jun 17) – In a statement from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), it is declared:
“We inform the noble people of Iran that just moments ago, a new wave of missile attacks by the IRGC Aerospace Force began — more powerful and crushing than before.
The innovations and capabilities used in this operation — despite comprehensive support from the U.S. and Western powers and their access to the latest and most advanced defence technology — resulted in successful and maximum-impact strikes on targets in the occupied territories.
Effective, targeted, and increasingly forceful operations against vital targets of this fake regime will continue until its complete destruction.”
Consequences of Iran’s Missile Retaliation for Jordan
WANA (Jun 17) – Iran’s intense missile responses have not only shattered Israel’s gas infrastructure but also brought heavy consequences for countries supporting the aggression against Iranian territory.
These attacks on Israel’s energy facilities have led to the shutdown of one of its gas fields — the offshore “Leviathan” field.
Analysts had previously warned that if the operations of this gas field remained halted, not only would Egypt face electricity shortages, but Jordan’s access to Israeli gas would also be reduced.
Israeli Escape from the Occupied Territories
WANA (Jun 17) – Secretly, without supervision, paying thousands of shekels, more people are fleeing Israel via Cyprus using private yachts.
With the skies closed, hundreds of Israelis have joined groups that provide them with alternative escape routes. None of them is willing to be identified by their real name, and nearly all say they are leaving out of desperation. Even those willing to pay the cost, according to the captains, must be prepared for serious hardships.
In recent days, the Herzliya marina has turned into a small terminal. From seven in the morning, individuals—mostly alone, sometimes couples or families—come here to flee Israel.
After the start of Israel’s attack on Iran, which took place on the morning of June 13, Iran immediately launched painful retaliatory strikes against Israel. These attacks were somewhat more intense than what Israel had anticipated.
Israeli citizens, many of whom hold the citizenship of another country, now consider Israel to be an increasingly unsafe place to live, and they are trying to save themselves from this situation by fleeing before it’s too late.
Iran Launches New Wave of Combined Attacks on Israel
WANA (Jun 17) – As the fifth day of the unprecedented military conflict between Iran and Israel begins, a new wave of combined attacks by Iran on the occupied territories has commenced.
These attacks, which are a response to the Israeli strike on Iran’s national broadcasting building in Tehran, have been carried out in multiple phases using cruise missiles and suicide drones.
According to Israeli sources, these attacks have successfully penetrated deep into the heart of the Israeli regime.

Attack on Tel Aviv and Central Regions; Mossad Targeted
Israeli media reported on early Tuesday that several massive explosions were heard in Tel Aviv and central areas. Local sources confirmed that at least one Iranian missile or drone struck targets in central Tel Aviv.
Iran’s state-run news agency reported that a building belonging to Mossad in Herzliya was precisely targeted, with published images showing a fire at the site.
The Commander of the Iranian Army’s Ground Forces also announced that heavy drone attacks with new weaponry had begun and would intensify in the coming hours.
Israeli Defences Fail; Tel Aviv’s Sky Under Media Blackout
Following these attacks, the Israeli military once again faced challenges in countering the Iranian missiles and drones. Despite the activation of Israel’s defence systems, reports indicate that some targets in sensitive areas were hit without interception by defence measures.
Furthermore, footage aired by Israeli media late last night showed the self-inflicted damage of Israel’s defence systems.
Meanwhile, a wave of widespread media censorship has begun in the occupied territories. Arab and Western media report that live broadcasts of the skies over Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, and Haifa have been halted.
Live streaming on YouTube and Instagram has also been blocked, while both foreign and domestic journalists have been detained in certain areas for filming the moment of impact.
The Israeli military had previously warned that broadcasting such footage during wartime would be considered direct assistance to the enemy.
Given the speed at which news spreads, WANA News Agency cannot confirm or deny the accuracy of some of them.
This live report will be updated throughout the day.
