Death to America means death to the logic of arrogance
Iran on the National Day of Fighting Global Arrogance
WANA (Nov 04) – On the morning of November 4, streets across Iran—from Tehran to smaller cities and towns—were filled with rallies that participants described as a symbol of “national resistance against domination.” From the early hours, students, university youth, and families gathered to mark the National Day of Fighting Global Arrogance, an annual event rooted in the history of the Iranian Revolution and commemorating the 1979 takeover of the U.S. Embassy in Tehran.
In the capital, the march began at Palestine Square, with a large crowd moving along Taleghani Street toward the site known as the “former Den of Espionage” (the former U.S. Embassy). The main slogan of the day—“United and steadfast against arrogance”—was echoed on placards, posters, and in chants. Amid the crowd, Iranian flags waved beside images of those killed in the recent twelve-day conflict, while students carried handmade rocket models as a symbol of national strength.
