WANA (Mar 03) – The Iranian Red Crescent has reported a significant increase in casualties following the ongoing U.S. and Israeli attacks on Iran. As of now, 153 cities across the country have been affected, with 504 locations struck by missiles. The total number of recorded attacks has reached 1,039.

 

Field reports indicate that at least 787 people have been martyred in these attacks, with continuous search and rescue operations, rubble removal, and medical assistance ongoing. A total of 1,009 operational teams, comprising 3,651 rescuers and relief workers, have been involved in the efforts.

 

U.S. Casualties in the Conflict Rise to Six

U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) acknowledged on Monday evening that the death toll for American forces has increased to six, following the discovery of the bodies of two soldiers who had been previously reported missing. In a statement, CENTCOM confirmed that the remains were recovered from a facility that had been targeted in the initial Iranian strikes in the region.

 

Israel Announces Casualties from Ongoing War with Iran

The Israeli Ministry of Health reported that in the past 24 hours, 289 Israelis were wounded and transferred to hospitals due to the ongoing conflict. According to reports, a total of 1,050 Israelis have been injured since the start of hostilities with Iran, with 289 of these casualties occurring in the last two days. Of the wounded:

 

  • 4 are in critical condition, with half of them not directly injured by missile attacks.
  • 21 are in moderate condition.
  • 75 have sustained minor injuries.
  • No one is in critical condition at the moment, and 2 others remain under medical examination.
