WANA (Jun 14) – Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Esmaeil Baghaei, while emphasizing that it is inconceivable for the Islamic Republic of Iran to believe that Israel could have launched such a provocative military aggression in the region without prior coordination or a deliberate green light from the United States, stated that It is still unclear what decision, Iran will make on this negotiations with the U.S. by Sunday.”

Speaking on the future of nuclear negotiations with the U.S. amid Israel’s recent attack, Baghaei said:

“The other side has made dialogue and negotiation essentially meaningless. You cannot simultaneously claim to seek dialogue for mutual understanding, while at the same time coordinate efforts and allow a racist regime to violate our territorial integrity. This is simply unacceptable.”

He emphasized that neither Iran nor the international community can believe Israel would act so brazenly without U.S. cooperation, coordination, or at least a conscious green light.

“We hold the U.S. government responsible for the consequences of this reckless and unlawful action by the Israeli regime,” Baghaei stressed, adding that Iran has yet to decide whether it will participate in the next round of talks scheduled for Sunday.

He went on to say that Israel has always dreamed of dragging Western countries into regional conflicts—and this time, it appears to have succeeded. “This reckless act has disrupted a diplomatic process, once again proving that American policymakers remain heavily influenced by this regime,” he concluded.
