Details About Iran’s “Hadid-110” Suicide Drone
WANA (Dec 06) – New information has emerged about the “Hadid-110” drone, known within the IRGC Ground Forces under the name “Dalahou.” The system has been developed as a suicide (loitering munition) drone, built on a low-observable platform and powered by jet propulsion.
The jet-powered Hadid-110 was unveiled in February of last year during a meeting between a group of scientists, officials, and defense industry specialists with the Leader of the Islamic Revolution.
According to the newly released details, the Hadid-110 uses a rocket-assisted launch system, allowing for rapid and flexible deployment. This launch method enables the drone to take off from virtually any location to carry out its missions.
Thanks to its jet engine, the drone reportedly achieves significantly higher cruising speeds compared to propeller-driven suicide drones, allowing it to reach targets in a shorter time.
Faster engagement speeds are considered one way to reduce an enemy’s reaction window and penetrate modern air-defense systems. The Hadid-110 has been designed specifically with this tactical approach in mind.
