WANA (Mar 22) – The Iranian Army carried out drone attacks targeting Israeli aerospace industries and the deployment site of U.S. reconnaissance aircraft at Prince Sultan Air Base in the region.

According to Army Public Relations in Statement No. 39, since early morning, Iranian attack drones struck two fronts: the Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) facilities near Ben Gurion Airport and the location of U.S. reconnaissance aircraft at Prince Sultan Air Base.

IAI plays a central role in producing military aircraft, drones, missiles, and advanced air and space defense systems for the Israeli military and international arms exports, making it a highly sensitive target for Israel.

The Prince Sultan Air Base has hosted a U.S. advanced operations and command-and-control center for over three decades.

The base also accommodates fighter jets including F-15s, F-16s, F-35s, as well as transport, AWACS, and reconnaissance aircraft.
