WANA (Aug 06) – The Egyptian Foreign Minister held separate conversations with the Iranian Foreign Minister and the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency.

 

On August 6, 2025, Egypt’s Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty held separate phone calls with Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Iran’s Foreign Minister, and Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency.

 

According to an official statement from the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, these discussions took place as part of Cairo’s ongoing efforts to strengthen regional stability, reduce tensions, and facilitate the resumption of negotiations on Iran’s nuclear program within a peaceful and diplomatic framework.
