Egypt’s FM Expresses Regret Over Davos Exclusion of Iranian Counterpart
WANA (Jan 22) – Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty and Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi held a telephone conversation last night to discuss bilateral relations alongside pivotal regional and international developments.
During the discussion, the Egyptian Foreign Minister referred to the ongoing deliberations at the Davos summit and expressed his regret regarding the obstacles that prevented his Iranian counterpart from attending the forum.
The two ministers further emphasised the necessity of continuing bilateral consultations to strengthen ties and underscored the importance of coordination on regional and international issues. Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to the diplomatic process as a means to support stability and security throughout the region.
