WANA (Jul 19) – During the eighth consecutive night of U.S. military strikes on Iran, several locations in the southern provinces of Hormozgan and Khuzestan were reportedly targeted overnight, with explosions heard across multiple areas.

 

In the early hours of the morning, reports emerged of explosions being heard in Bandar Abbas and Bandar Lengeh. Officials from the Hormozgan Governorate confirmed the sounds but stated that, at that time, there had been no confirmed missile impacts or direct attacks within Bandar Abbas itself.

 

At approximately 2:10 a.m. local time, an area near Hajiabad was reportedly struck. According to local authorities, the attack caused no civilian casualties or damage to residential or commercial infrastructure.

 

Later, at around 3:40 a.m., the Hormozgan Governorate confirmed that an area near Qeshm Island had come under attack. Minutes earlier, between 3:38 and 3:45 a.m., multiple explosions were reported across different parts of the island. Initial field reports indicated that at least six missiles struck areas on the outskirts of Qeshm. As of the time of reporting, however, no official information had been released regarding casualties or the extent of the damage.

 

The wave of attacks continued at approximately 5:55 a.m., when a location near the city of Shadegan in Khuzestan Province was reportedly targeted by a missile strike. Provincial officials said the attack caused no fatalities, while emergency and operational teams were deployed to assess the damage and investigate the incident.

 

Shortly afterward, at around 6:10 a.m., another round of strikes reportedly targeted areas of Qeshm Island. Preliminary reports indicated that at least two explosions were heard, prompting the immediate deployment of emergency, security, and response teams to evaluate the affected areas and determine the extent of any damage.

 

Authorities said assessments remain ongoing, with further details expected to be released as official investigations continue.
