Ejei: Iran’s Power Display in the Strait of Hormuz Is a Source of Pride
WANA (Apr 23) – Iran’s Judiciary Chief stated that the United States does not dare approach the Strait of Hormuz, adding that they have seen what happened to their so-called advanced destroyers.
Hojjat al-Islam Gholamhossein Mohseni Ejei wrote on social media that the display of power by Iran’s armed forces in the Strait of Hormuz is a source of national pride. He added that just a day earlier, three violating vessels in this strategic waterway had been subjected to law enforcement measures.
He further claimed that U.S. forces lack the courage to approach the Strait of Hormuz, noting that they had witnessed the fate of two of their so-called advanced destroyers, “Murphy” and “Peterson.”
Ejei also stated that the IRGC’s “swarm fleet,” equipped with fast boats and unmanned surface vessels, is positioned in the sea caves of Farur Island, awaiting any aggressive U.S. naval presence, ready to overwhelm them with saturation tactics.
