WANA (Apr 06) – The spokesperson for the Tehran Fire Department has reported two separate strikes in the capital’s central and southeastern regions, resulting in casualties and significant infrastructure damage.

Jalal Maleki stated that the first attack targeted a gas pressure reduction station in central Tehran.

The strike caused a severe gas leak, creating a high-risk situation. “Fortunately, the attack did not lead to a fire,” Maleki said, noting that firefighters and gas utility teams managed to contain the leak and secure the area in under 30 minutes. One man was injured in this incident and received emergency medical treatment.

Residential Strike: Rescue Operations Ongoing

The second attack targeted a residential area in southeastern Tehran, where enemy projectiles completely destroyed a two-story home and damaged two adjacent buildings.

According to the spokesperson, search and rescue teams were dispatched immediately to the scene. “So far, seven people have been pulled alive from the rubble, but unfortunately, three individuals have been martyred,” Maleki confirmed.

Fire department officials emphasized that operations are still underway as rescue crews continue to search the debris for any additional survivors.
