WANA (Jul 02) – The head of Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization, Mohammad Eslami, emphasized that Iran’s nuclear industry is indestructible through military attacks, as the technology is indigenous and its advancement will persist.

Speaking on the sidelines of the cabinet meeting on Wednesday, Eslami stated, “The operation carried out against Iran was a blow to the UN Charter and demonstrated that the law of the jungle governs the world. If a country lacks power, it cannot survive. The Iranian people fully understood this reality and stood firm.”

He further stressed that Iran’s nuclear industry cannot be destroyed by bombing and is rooted in Iran’s soil and the hearts of its people. “This technology is homegrown. The path of its progress is clear, and it will continue,” he asserted.

On June 13, Israel launched a series of military strikes on Tehran and other Iranian cities, including nuclear facilities, killing several scientists, soldiers, and civilians. Iran’s Supreme Leader condemned the attack as a violation of international law and vowed retaliation, which was swiftly carried out.

Days later, on June 22, the U.S. joined the conflict, targeting Iran’s nuclear sites in Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan. In which experts claim that this operation was not successful, and Iran’s nuclear program remains steadfast.

In response, Iran struck the U.S. Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar. A ceasefire was announced by the U.S. President on June 24, with Iran declaring it would not continue hostilities unless provoked.
