Case Details: From Street Clashes to Sentencing

Based on official reports, the case dates back to January 8-9, 2026 , when clashes broke out in parts of Qom, including Nekouei Intersection and Nobovat Square, between protesters and police forces. During these incidents, two police officers were attacked with bladed weapons and lost their lives.

Judicial authorities said the three main defendants were identified and arrested shortly after the unrest.
