WANA (Jun 14) – The Public Relations Office of the Iranian Army has announced that the Air Defense Force of the Islamic Republic of Iran successfully targeted and destroyed two Israeli F-35 fighter jets, along with a large number of drones.

 

According to the statement, the fate of the fighter jet pilots remains unknown and is currently under investigation.

 

This marks the first time in history that an air defense system has successfully brought down an F-35 stealth fighter jet.

 

According to Iranian news sources, the total number of Israeli aerial targets downed has reached eight.

 

Iranian news agencies have reported that the sound of propeller aircraft or loud engine noises heard in the skies is caused by Israeli micro-drones, which are used for reconnaissance or missile launches. These micro-drones are commonly known as “MK” in Lebanon.

WANA (Jun 13) – The Deputy of Public Relations of Iran’s Army announced that Iranian air defense units successfully downed two Israeli fighter jets amid ongoing hostilities.

 

Several drones and small UAVs were also intercepted and destroyed by the Army’s air defense systems.

WANA (Jun 13) –  Moments ago (8:30 PM local time), Tehran’s air defense forces successfully intercepted and destroyed hostile projectiles launched by the Israeli regime over the capital’s skies.

 

The confrontation took place in central and southern areas of Tehran, where the Islamic Republic of Iran’s air defense units neutralized all incoming projectiles from the Israeli regime.

Reports also indicate that areas in eastern Isfahan have been hit, and Iran’s air defense is still actively engaging most of the incoming projectiles.

 

Loud Explosions Heard in Eastern and Western Tehran Moments Ago

WANA (Jun 13) – Some sources say several loud explosions were heard in both eastern and western parts of Tehran just moments ago (18:50 pm Local time).

 

For ordinary citizens, it is not possible to distinguish whether the sounds were from offensive projectiles or defensive air defense systems.

 

According to reports from the East Azerbaijan Provincial Crisis Management Department, 18 people have been killed and 35 others injured so far as a result of Israeli regime attacks on East Azerbaijan.

WANA (Jun 13) – According to local sources, the Nojeh Airbase near Hamedan was struck twice by Israeli missiles in the past hour.

 

Meanwhile, the vicinity of Tabriz International Airport also came under fire, with two missile strikes reported.

 

The Director General of Crisis Management in East Azerbaijan Province confirmed that the number of casualties from the Israeli attacks on Tabriz has risen to eight. In addition, twelve people have been reported injured.

Martyrdom of the Deputy Head of Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization

WANA (Jun 13) – Seyed Amirhossein Faghihi, Deputy of the Atomic Energy Organisation of Iran and a faculty member at Shahid Beheshti University, was martyred in an Israeli airstrike early this morning.

 

Faghihi, a full professor of nuclear physics and a prominent scientist in the field, specialized in radiopharmaceuticals primarily used in cancer treatment. He had previously served as the Deputy Head of the Atomic Energy Organization and President of the Nuclear Science and Technology Research Institute.

 

The same Israeli strike also claimed the lives of Fereydoon Abbasi, former head of the Atomic Energy Organization, and Mohammad Mehdi Tehranchi, president of Islamic Azad University and a nuclear expert.

Israel Strikes Iran / Assassination of IRGC Commanders and Nuclear Scientists

WANA (Jun 13) – Unofficial sources report that explosions were heard in Tehran, while the Israeli regime has placed its home front on emergency alert, warning of imminent attacks.

 

In the early hours of Friday, reports emerged of multiple explosions being heard in various parts of Tehran. However, as of the time of this report, no official statement has been issued regarding the cause or possible extent of the incident.

 

At the same time, Israel’s Defense Minister declared a state of special emergency across the entire home front in the occupied territories—an action Israeli officials say is in response to “growing threats from Iran and the Axis of Resistance.”

 

Israeli Intelligence Minister Israel Katz also warned that, following Israel’s preemptive strikes on targets in Iran, a retaliatory drone and missile response from Tehran should be expected in the very near future.

 

At the same time, reports have emerged of attacks on multiple locations across Iran, including Hamedan and Natanz.

 

According to incoming reports, most of the targeted buildings were located in residential areas and were non-military structures. A number of the casualties were women and children.

 

No confirmed information has yet been released regarding the extent of damage or possible casualties.

 

The Director of Public Relations at Iran’s Civil Aviation Organization announced that the country’s airspace has been closed until further notice.

 

According to a statement released by the Public Relations Office of the Civil Aviation Organization, a series of NOTAMs (Notices to Airmen) have been issued, declaring the closure of Iran’s airspace until further notice.

 

Sources reported the alleged assassination of Major General Hossein Salami, Commander-in-Chief of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), during an attack on the IRGC’s General Command Headquarters. Unconfirmed reports suggest that Major General Mohammad Bagheri, the Chief of Staff of Iran’s Armed Forces, may have been assassinated in today’s Israeli attack on Iran.

According to reports, in today’s terrorist attacks by the Israeli regime against Iran, six nuclear scientists were assassinated.

 

Abdolhamid Minouhchahr, Ahmadreza Zolfaghari, Seyed Amirhossein Faghihi, Matlabi-Zadeh, Mohammad-Mehdi Tehranchi, and Fereydoon Abbasi — all nuclear scientists of the Islamic Republic of Iran — were targeted and killed.

 

The National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company announced that none of Iran’s refineries or oil storage facilities were damaged in the recent Israeli attacks. It added that all operations and fuel distribution across the country are continuing without disruption and remain fully stable.

 

The Director General of the Crisis Management and Passive Defense Office at Iran’s Ministry of Energy announced that no damage has been inflicted on the country’s water and electricity infrastructure, and uninterrupted service continues.
