WANA (Jul 15) – Local sources reported hearing multiple explosions across parts of Kuwait early Wednesday, as air raid sirens sounded throughout the country.

According to the reports, U.S. air defense systems stationed in Kuwait were activated shortly after the alerts were issued.

Kuwait’s Fire Force also announced that a large fire broke out at a vital facility following what it described as a missile attack, with emergency crews dispatched to contain the blaze.

Meanwhile, the media outlet Sabereen News released footage claiming that an Iranian drone had directly struck a U.S. facility at Abdullah Port in Kuwait.

According to the report, the operation was carried out in response to what was described as repeated U.S. military attacks on several locations in southern Iran.
