Export of Specialized Diagnostic Kits to Three Countries
WANA (Jan18) – Iran has succeeded in producing and exporting specialised medical diagnostic kits to three foreign markets, marking a major milestone in the country’s biotech manufacturing sector.
These kits, designed for laboratory and clinical use, were developed domestically with advanced technical expertise and have now been shipped to clients in Oman, the United Arab Emirates and another regional partner.
Officials in the producing company say that this achievement reflects Iran’s growing capability in high-precision biotechnologies and reduces dependence on imported laboratory diagnostic tools.
The kits have been well received abroad, especially in countries with active healthcare industries, which has boosted confidence in Iran’s scientific manufacturing base.
Fardin Balochi, CEO of the Specialised Mother Company for Blood Purification and Research of Iran, stated that the refinery has now been launched and that we have been able to achieve the technical knowledge and the possibility of producing albumin from plasma, and said: We also have a unit for producing medical diagnostic kits and laboratory reagents.
Currently, medical diagnostic kits and laboratory reagents are being exported to Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan. The refinery project for producing albumin and IVIG is also being built and completed.
Company representatives also underscored that this export success is part of broader efforts to expand Iran’s non-oil exports and strengthen trade relations with neighbouring states through specialised medical technology exports.
