WANA (Nov 04) – On Monday, during a meeting with a group of Iranian students, Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, outlined three key points regarding the possibility of cooperation between Iran and the United States — remarks that quickly drew widespread praise from international social media users.

Non-Iranian users on Platform X (formerly Twitter) hailed Ayatollah Khamenei’s position on the “need for the U.S. to end its support for Israel,” emphasizing that such a stance should serve as an example for world leaders who seek to promote global justice.

In his speech on the eve of November 4, the “National Student Day” marking the 1979 U.S. embassy takeover, Ayatollah Khamenei stated that if the United States completely abandons its support for the Israeli regime, withdraws its military bases from the region, and stops interfering in other nations’ affairs, then the issue of cooperation could be considered. Of course, this is neither a current matter nor one for the near future.

“Cooperation with Iran is not compatible with cooperating with and aiding the accursed Zionist regime. Given the situation that the whole world has seen recently, that the whole world has understood and condemned, that America helps, supports, and backs it, cooperation with Iran makes no sense; it is not acceptable. Yes, if they were to completely stop supporting the Zionist regime, withdraw their military bases from here, and refrain from intervening in this region, then matters could be examined. But that is not for now. It is not for the near future either, Iran’s Supreme Leader stated.”

Foreign commentators widely shared these remarks, arguing that other nations should set similar preconditions for their cooperation with Washington. They described such an approach as an effective means to pressure the U.S. to end its backing of Israel and to promote a fairer international order.
