WANA (Sep 02) – Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and Army have reported carrying out four waves of missile and drone strikes against U.S. military bases and positions across the region since last night.

 

According to reports, in the first wave, ballistic missiles targeted U.S. Marine positions at Camp Titen, located on the shores of the Gulf of Aqaba in Jordan.

 

In the second wave, missile strikes targeted hangars housing RQ-4 and MQ-9 long-range drones at Prince Hassan Air Base in Jordan.

 

The attacks also included a combined missile and drone operation against a U.S. military maintenance facility and technical equipment warehouses in Harir, Erbil, Iraq. The guidance system of a U.S. surveillance balloon was also targeted in the strike.

 

In the fourth wave, Iranian Army drones targeted radar installations and areas where U.S. forces were assembled at Sheikh Isa Air Base in Bahrain.

 

The reported strikes have taken place since last night amid escalating military confrontation between Iran and the United States across the region.
