France Highlight Illegality of U.S. and Israeli Attacks, Urge Regional Stability
WANA (Mar 05) – Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi held a phone conversation with French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot on Wednesday to discuss the latest regional developments, including the recent military aggression by the United States and Israel against Iran.
During the call, Barrou reiterated France’s position that the U.S. and Israeli attacks on Iran violate international law and expressed hope for the rapid restoration of peace and stability in the region.
Araghchi detailed some of the crimes committed by the U.S. and Israel over the past five days, including the assassination of Iran’s Supreme Leader, the killing of numerous Iranian civilians—including more than 175 elementary school students in Minab—as well as attacks on hospitals, mosques, diplomatic police, and public service centers. He emphasized the responsibility of all governments and the United Nations to firmly condemn these acts.
The two ministers also consulted on various bilateral consular and diplomatic matters during the call.
