French and Iranian FMs to Meet in Paris
WANA (Nov 24) – France’s Foreign Ministry announced on Monday that French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot will meet his Iranian counterpart, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, on November 26 in Paris.
According to the ministry’s statement, the talks will focus on bilateral relations, Iran’s nuclear program, and the situation of two French citizens detained in Iran.

The ministry emphasized that the meeting is part of Paris’s ongoing diplomatic efforts to address current challenges in its relations with Tehran.
Araghchi, who is in Muscat, the capital of Oman, to attend the Muscat Forum, will participate tomorrow (Tuesday), in the annual meeting of the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons in The Hague, the Netherlands.
