WANA (Aug 07) – Major General Mousavi, Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, emphasizing that the Iranian nation will never forget the treacherous wound inflicted by America, said: “If the enemies intend to invade and attack this great country again, our response this time will be more crushing and different from the past.”

 

Major General Seyed Abdolrahim Mousavi, speaking at the Arbaeen (40th day) ceremony of the “Martyrs of Iran’s Power” in the Grand Musalla of Imam Khomeini (RA) in Tehran, said:

 

“Today, we commemorate the 40th day of martyrdom of the martyrs of Iran’s power, while approaching the Arbaeen of Aba Abdillah al-Hussain (PBH), and we witness the great event and epic of millions of passionate people walking toward the sun of guidance and the ark of salvation for a life of dignity.”

He added: “We are now on the 40th day since the ascension of over a thousand of our beloved people, scientists, and commanders. Although the martyrdom of these dear ones was a hard and bitter blow, by God’s grace, with the prayers of Imam Mahdi, the brave and wise leadership of the Supreme Leader, and the awareness and steadfastness of the great and courageous nation, a new chapter in the strategic life of the Islamic Republic of Iran has opened, laying the foundation for a new era of national power, scientific progress, and social cohesion.”

 

The Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces said: “The commanders who brought hope with their presence on the front lines, the scientists who silently secured the future of dear Iran, and the people who stood with faith and calmness in the face of the tsunami of cognitive warfare and military threats — they are the steadfast pillars of security today and tomorrow for this land.”

 

Iran Cannot Be Defeated

He emphasized: “What the world saw with its own eyes reminded it of this truth: Iran cannot be defeated, because the spirit of this nation is nourished by the culture of self-sacrifice and belief in divine promise, rooted in the message of Ashura in its historical background, and looking forward to the emergence of the savior of human beings in its bright horizon.”

The Chief of Staff continued: “The martyrs, in an era of threats and invasions, prioritized their historic mission in shaping a new Islamic-Iranian culture over their personal interests. The consequence of their pure blood became a living testament that this nation not only has the power to resist but also the ability to generate power, even in the hardest and most complex arenas.”

 

“This sacred combination of national zeal, knowledge, science, courage, resistance, and spirituality has both a deterrent dread and strengthens the image of a cohesive, committed, and determined nation standing for progress and excellence in the face of any foreign assault, he said.”

 

He added: “When a nuclear scientist reaches the great blessing of martyrdom, the message is that knowledge and wisdom serve the homeland and the Islamic Revolution. The field commanders who defended the frontlines with their lives showed that field management is not just a tactical matter but a spiritual matter in decision-making. These commanders acted like the saints of love, and their sacrifices preserved the faith of the fighters and provided a management model for leaders.”

Major General Mousavi said: “The martyrdom of women and children in peak innocence showed that the enemy fears the core foundations of the Islamic Republic — the family and the future builders of the nation. The martyrdom of these figures together made the circle of Islamic Iran stronger, Iran’s fist fuller, and the voice of resistance and steadfastness louder, uniting everyone under the sacred flag of the Islamic Republic of Iran, so that the world may witness a different image of this great nation.”

 

We Must Be Ready for All Fronts

He added: “Today we are fighting on various fronts and must be ready for all arenas. We stand powerfully and to the last breath in every field for the dignity, pride, and victory of dear Iran.”

 

The Chief of Staff said: “We are all aware of the problems and know that the responsibilities of officials in all sectors for the comfort and peace of the people are heavy and require essential and major reforms and measures. But we must remain alert that the hybrid war launched by the enemies is targeting our national morale and unity.”

 

Iranians Will Stand United Against the Enemy, Regardless of Belief

Major General Mousavi stated: “In recent events, everyone understood that the vile Zionist regime seeks to push dear Iran into chaos and war. Our enemies have not and will not understand that when the enemy sets foot in Iran, Iranians — regardless of their beliefs or ideologies — will stand united against it.”

He emphasized: “The illegitimate Zionist regime has always been hated by the people, and now the Americans, by aligning with it, have become equally hated. The Zionist regime is witnessing its own fate, and its brutality stems from the anxiety of this realization. The child-killing regime has no future to even contemplate — but what is astonishing is that America and some Western countries have tied their own fate to this vile regime.”

 

American Wise Men — Do You Want to Sacrifice Your Country for Netanyahu?

Major General Mousavi stated: “The Zionist regime is like a vehicle that has lost its brakes and control, and its speed of destruction and downfall increases by the moment — this is lawlessness. Netanyahu fuels war and brutality to save himself.”

 

He warned American and Western statesmen, stating: “I ask the wise people of America, do you really want to sacrifice your country’s fate and your future generations just to save Netanyahu? The people of Iran will never forget the wounds from America’s betrayals and crimes, and future generations will loudly cry out for vengeance against the oppression of this nation.”

 

Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces emphasized: “Do American strategists think there is no future, and that today is the last day of the world, and that tomorrow the hands of the wounded sons of this nation will not reach their throats in the region? Even if only one person from this generation remains, you Americans will not be safe from the slap of vengeance.”

The Future Belongs to the Children of the Resistance

Major General Mousavi continued: “The children, teenagers, and youth of this land have heard the vile sound of your bombs—wait, for the echo of that will one day deafen your ears. The girls and women of this land saw your hideous smiles in the face of the mourners’ tears—they will raise children who will wipe those smiles from your faces. The future is in the hands of the children of the resistance, and they will bring down the Nimrods and Pharaohs from their thrones.”

 

He further said: “Do the supporters of the child-killing regime think that the blood of the oppressed martyrs of Gaza will go unanswered? Their eyes, ears, and hearts have been sealed, so they do not comprehend. You have set aside religion, faith, law, and conscience—yet do you not even read history and understand? What oppressor has ever gone to the grave without facing retribution? By God, the sea of blood of Gaza’s innocent children will drown you. On that day, even the bystanders and the silent ones will not be safe from this fire.”

 

The Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces emphasized: “Americans and Western rulers—history will record your names with the disgrace of oppression, foolishness, and the destruction of nations.”

National Unity is the Greatest Weapon Against the Enemy’s Attempts to Sow Division

He stressed: “The resilient and powerful people of Islamic Iran—national unity is the greatest weapon against the enemy’s efforts to create division. Patience and perseverance are the keys to overcoming economic crises and hybrid wars. Harmony and unity among officials will lead to reform and effective action, and reliance on God is the guarantee of success.”

 

Major General Mousavi noted: “In the complex battlefield of hybrid warfare, the people are the foundation of national power. Our strength comes from the faith and solidarity of the people. We have the ability to respond instantly and do not seek permission from anyone to defend our rights. We are people of resistance—this belief is deeply rooted and embedded in our identity. Every Iranian household is a trench in the face of enemy aggression.”

 

Our Hands Are Full—Both for Negotiation and for War

The Chief of the General Staff emphasized: “As the wise Leader of the Revolution and Commander-in-Chief has said, our hands are full both for negotiation and for war. The Iranian nation is not a war-seeking nation, but if the enemies intend to invade or attack this great country again, our response this time will be more crushing and different from the past.”

Major General Mousavi added: “The message of the Iranian people in the region is a message of peace and friendship. The Iranian nation is determined, through cooperation with regional countries, to establish lasting stability and security in the region, and will not allow the Zionist regime to achieve its goals of geographic expansion in the occupied territories and creating instability and insecurity in the region.”

 

He continued: “We are determined to strengthen the national cohesion—which is a divine trust—day by day. We are proud of a nation that, despite all hardships, does not allow enemies to infringe upon our Iranian-Islamic identity.”

 

In Conclusion, Major General Mousavi said: “We honor the memory of the martyrs of the Sacred Defense against criminal America and the child-killing Zionist regime—especially the brave commanders, scientists, and all the martyrs—and we pledge to them that we will continue their path with ever greater strength.”
