WANA (Aug 21) – Iranian Armed Forces Chief of Staff Major General Ali Abdollahi warned that any miscalculation or conventional and new threats from enemies will face revolutionary, crushing, regret-inducing, and destructive responses.

Major General Abdollahi issued the warning in an official message addressed to Brigadier General Seyyed Majid Ibn al-Reza, Acting Minister of Defense and Logistics of the Armed Forces, on the occasion of Defense Industry Day (August 22).

Highlighting the capabilities of the domestic defense sector, Abdollahi stated that the Armed Forces maintain comprehensive, smart, and updated readiness across land, sea, air, air defense, space, and cyber domains.

He emphasized that the advancements in national defense extend beyond manufacturing military hardware, representing a strategic “defense-industrial revolution” encompassing smart production models, defense economics, and knowledge-based technologies tailored for modern and future warfare.

The message commended defense industry personnel, specialists, and martyrs—specifically naming martyrs Nasirzadeh, Fakhrizadeh, and Namjoo—for building indigenous deterrent capabilities under harsh sanctions.

Abdollahi attributed these achievements to the foundational vision of Islamic Republic founder Ruhollah Khomeini and the strategic guidance of the late Supreme Leader, while concluding with congratulations to Defense Ministry staff under the leadership of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei.
