Enemy Will Face Heavier Defeat If Strikes Again
WANA (Jul 18) – The Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces emphasized during a visit to the country’s Air Defense Headquarters that any renewed aggression by the enemy against Iran will, with God’s help, be met with even more crushing blows than before, leading to a greater defeat for the aggressors.
Major General Seyyed Abdolrahim Mousavi, Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, during his presence at the Air Defense Headquarters — held alongside an assessment and analysis of the recent 12-day imposed war operation and current state of preparedness — stated:
“Air defense, standing at the front line of protecting our nation’s skies, has proven its capability to confront threats at every level and will make the enemies of the Iranian people regret their miscalculations.”
He further added: “The downing of enemy aerial vehicles in such scale and number is a testament to the capability, determination, and bravery of the valiant men of the air defense forces — a feat that will be recorded in the historical memory of the Iranian nation.”
General Mousavi went on to note that this resolve, capability, resilience, and courage stem from unwavering faith, deep national pride, the unique and wise leadership of the Commander-in-Chief, national cohesion, and the wholehearted support of the people — as well as that of media, academic, political, cultural, artistic, athletic, and social circles.
Reiterating the need to continually update and restructure systems, innovate, and employ new tactics and techniques in response to evolving threats, Mousavi underscored the importance of operational agility and the use of indigenous scientific and technological capacities. He declared:
“If the enemy intends to repeat its aggression against our beloved country Iran, with God’s assistance, it will face even more crushing blows than before and suffer a defeat more devastating than the last.”
