General Shekarchi: Iran’s Power is Far Greater Than Ever Before
WANA (Jun 11) – The senior spokesperson for the Iranian Armed Forces dismissed enemy claims regarding the destruction of Iran’s defense systems, declaring that the military remains fully prepared and has inflicted heavy losses on American forces. He asserted that Iran’s current military capabilities far exceed those of the previous “12-day imposed war.”
Brigadier General Abolfazl Shekarchi, detailing the latest readiness status of the nation’s combat forces, emphasized Iran’s defense capabilities.
“Praise be to God, today, from a military and defense standpoint, we are more powerful than the opening days of the war that was imposed upon us,” Shekarchi stated.
Addressing enemy claims concerning the destruction of Iranian air defense systems and depleted missile stockpiles, General Shekarchi urged the public to focus on the reality of the battlefield rather than hostile propaganda.
“Do not focus on the enemy’s claims; what matters is the reality on the ground,” he said. “The enemy spreads rhetoric that Iran has suffered damages, but in contrast, we have inflicted far greater and more extensive damage upon the Americans. We powerfully targeted U.S. bases just last night.”
The senior military spokesperson noted that Iran continues to actively replenish and strengthen its defense assets even in the midst of conflict.
“We fill our hands even during an imposed war—a fact we proved during the ‘Third Imposed War,’ demonstrating that our power today is far greater than during the 12-day imposed war,” Shekarchi added.
When asked about claims that Iran’s missile stockpiles are running low, the general stated that the enemy’s goal is merely to extract intelligence. “We have always said we are ready, and the enemy has experienced this readiness on the battlefield. If our hands were empty, then what is the source of the heavy damage they are sustaining?”
Regional Fronts and the Bab-el-Mandeb Strait
General Shekarchi went on to reaffirm the Islamic Republic’s unwavering support for Lebanon’s Hezbollah against the Israeli regime, invoking directives from the Supreme Leader.
“The Resistance Front is an integrated, unified entity, and we all stand as a single united front against global arrogance and the malicious Zionist regime,” he explained.
Regarding the potential closure of the strategic Bab-el-Mandeb Strait, the senior military spokesperson concluded with a warning: “We have a vast array of operational plans, and we will play our cards one by one as the situation demands.”
