Generosity from Kashmir: Public Donates Valuables to Aid Iranians
WANA (Mar 23) – Residents across Kashmir, India, have come together to support the people of Iran and the resistance front, contributing funds as well as personal valuables, including women’s gold rings and earrings.
After persistent requests from the local community, the Iranian Embassy in India opened a channel to receive these donations, which has since been met with widespread enthusiasm and a surge of public contributions.
Among the donors was a young Kashmiri man who even offered his motorcycle to help those affected by the conflict in Iran.
Earlier, humanitarian aid had also been sent to Iran by countries including Russia, India, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan.
