Ghalibaf Denounces U.S. Strikes on Civilian Targets, Calling Washington ‘The Great Satan’
WANA (Sep 02) – Iranian Speaker of Parliament Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf strongly condemned recent U.S. strikes on civilian locations, including a wedding ceremony in Kouhestak, writing in a post on X that Washington acts “like Satan.”
In his statement published in English on his official account, Ghalibaf cited attacks in Minab, Lamerd, and Kouhestak, writing:
“Minab school: children massacred.
Lamerd sports hall: kids slaughtered.
Kouhestak wedding: children killed with families.
If a power acts like Satan, picks targets like Satan, and kills like Satan, it’s Satan.
Shields a junior Satan that does the same? It’s THE Great Satan.”
