WANA (Jun 01) – Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf has strongly condemned the escalation of military actions in Lebanon, directly linking Western-backed maneuvers to a breach of international understandings.

 

In a statement published in English on his official X account, the top Iranian lawmaker fiercely criticized the maritime restrictions and ongoing military operations targeting Lebanon.

 

Ghalibaf stated that the naval blockade and the escalation of war crimes in Lebanon by the “genocidal Zionist regime” served as clear evidence of U.S. noncompliance with the ceasefire.

 

Warning of Imminent Consequences

Ghalibaf concluded his social media statement with a stern warning regarding the broader regional and geopolitical fallout of the current escalation. “Every choice has a price, and the bill comes due,” Ghalibaf warned, adding that “it will all fall into place.”
