Ghalibaf: No One Believes America’s Empty Threats
WANA (Aug 24) – Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said recent U.S. threats lack credibility and are unlikely to influence other countries.
In a post on his X account, Ghalibaf wrote that the United States knows “no one believes its empty threats,” adding that Washington is not in an economic position to further restrict its relations with other countries.
He also said Iran’s trading partners had conveyed, both through the media and in messages sent to Iranian officials, that they do not take the latest U.S. statements seriously.
Ghalibaf stressed that U.S. economic pressure and threats cannot further restrict Iran’s trade relations with its international partners.
