WANA (Jul 12) – Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf declared that the era of one-sided agreements has come to an end, stressing that the other parties must honor their commitments or face the consequences of failing to do so.

In a post on his X account, Ghalibaf wrote, “The era of one-sided agreements is over.” Addressing the other parties, he added, “We warned you to fulfill your promises and commitments. Otherwise, you would have to pay the price. Now, it’s time to face reality.”

Ghalibaf also attached part of Article 5 of the 14-point memorandum to his post, which emphasizes the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz under “Iranian arrangements.” The move comes as Iranian officials continue to insist on the full implementation of the memorandum and reject any one-sided enforcement of its provisions.
