WANA (Mar 28) – Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Speaker of Iran’s Parliament, said that repeated attempts to influence energy markets through misinformation have lost their impact, stressing that such tactics are no longer effective.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), he wrote: “They’ve spammed so much fake news trying to push energy prices down that the market’s just numb now. Keep going, nobody’s buying it anymore.”

He added: “The real prices will show up anyway.”

Ghalibaf also criticized what he described as the strategic miscalculation behind these efforts, stating: “Powerful? Maybe. But Smart? Not even close. Burned that fake news card way too early.”
