Ghalibaf Warns of Alleged Plot to Occupy an Iranian Island
WANA (Mar 25) – Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Speaker of Iran’s Parliament, has issued a warning on social media regarding what he described as a plan by Iran’s adversaries to occupy one of the country’s islands.
In a message posted in both Persian and Arabic on his account on X, he stated that, based on certain information, Iran’s enemies—backed by a regional country—are preparing for such an operation. He emphasized that all related movements are under full surveillance and control of Iran’s armed forces.
Ghalibaf also delivered a strong warning, saying that if any action is taken, all critical infrastructure of the supporting country would be targeted without limitation and subjected to relentless attacks.
