Gharibabadi: Silence over US and Israeli Crimes Is Complicity in Violence
WANA (Oct 02) – Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi said that remaining silent in the face of crimes committed by the United States and Israel amounted to complicity in violence.
In a message marking the International Day of Non-Violence, Gharibabadi said the occasion was an opportunity to recall what he described as a bitter reality, arguing that when the United States and Israel target the security and lives of nations through military aggression, the killing of civilians and the destruction of infrastructure, it represents the most overt form of state violence.
“Silence in the face of these crimes is complicity in violence,” Gharibabadi said.
