‘God of War’ Premieres on Russian Screens
WANA (May 02) – Through the efforts of the Cultural Counselor of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Russia, the film “God of War,” produced by the Owj Media Organization, has been screened with Russian dubbing at Moscow’s Illuzion Cinema.
During the special screening, Kazem Jalali, Iran’s Ambassador to Russia, honored the bravery of Iranian soldiers during the eight-year Sacred Defense (Iran-Iraq War).
He described Iran’s victories in the two recent wars as the result of the nation’s experience in self-reliance, national conviction, and indigenous knowledge.
Jalali highlighted several key characteristics of Iranian personnel across the Army, the IRGC, and the Basij, including faith in God, devotion to the Supreme Leadership, and their strong bond with the people, alongside the pursuit of cutting-edge defense technology.
The Ambassador stated: “In the recent 40-day conflict, the world witnessed that despite the martyrdom of the Supreme Leader and Commander-in-Chief, as well as senior generals, Iranian forces—guided by Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Khamenei and newly appointed commanders—stood bravely against U.S. and Zionist aggression, delivering crushing responses.”
