WANA (Jul 25) – On Friday, the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi, claimed that Tehran is willing to resume certain technical-level discussions with the Agency.

According to Reuters, Grossi said: “Iran has indicated that it is willing to resume some technical discussions.”

He further claimed: “Iran has several nuclear facilities and is undertaking certain activities, and there needs to be clarity regarding them.”

Grossi added that initiating dialogue with Iran on how to resume inspections of its nuclear facilities is important.

Grossi—whose cooperation with the Israeli regime and the United States has led to criminal attacks on Iran’s nuclear sites—also stated: “We are listening to Iran’s comments regarding the precautionary measures that need to be taken at some of the damaged sites.”

He clarified that the initial talks with Iran will not involve the presence of inspectors but expressed optimism that they will return to Iran later this year.

Reuters also quoted the IAEA chief as saying: “There is no new information from Iran regarding enriched uranium.”
