WANA (Oct 12) – At the finals of the 2025 Mr. Olympia held early Sunday morning (Tehran time) in Las Vegas, Iranian bodybuilder Hadi Choopan earned the title of Runner-Up in the main Open division and was simultaneously voted the People’s Champion for the second time in his career.

In the official Open category results, Derek Lunsford claimed the championship title, Hadi Choopan finished second, and Andrew Jacked placed third.

Choopan received the highest number of fan votes from the audience, once again being recognized as the most popular and admired athlete on the Olympia stage. He had previously won the People’s Champion award in 2019.

This marks Choopan’s third consecutive runner-up finish at Mr. Olympia. He made history in 2022 as the first Iranian ever to win the Mr. Olympia title, and went on to take second place in both 2023 and 2024.

While the official prize for the 2025 Mr. Olympia champion has not yet been announced, Choopan’s dual achievement — both as a top competitor and as the crowd favorite — once again cements his status as a global icon in professional bodybuilding.
