WANA (Apr 13) – The cyber group “Handala” has announced a massive, unprecedented cyber operation targeting two major regional steel industry players, Foulath and SULB, located in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.

The group claims the facilities were fully breached and their operations brought to a standstill.

According to Handala, the attack was launched in retaliation for “organized crimes and targeted attacks” carried out last week against steel plants belonging to the “Axis of Resistance.”

Impact on Regional Industrial Giants

Handala characterized the two companies as the “backbone of the Persian Gulf’s industrial and economic infrastructure,” noting they represent an annual turnover of over $5 billion, a production capacity of 2 million tons of steel, and a workforce of over 2,000 specialists.

“Today, these pillars have been brought to their knees by the will of the Resistance,” the group stated, asserting that no geographic location within “enemy territory” is beyond their reach.

Warnings of Further Retaliation

The group framed this operation as both a tribute to the “martyred Handala hackers of the Ramadan War” and a direct response to recent actions against the people of southern Lebanon.

Their statement included a stern warning to regional leaders, claiming their “shadows are moving over command rooms and decision-making centers.”

“This attack is only the beginning of a wave of revenge,” the statement continued. “It shows that Handala’s finger remains on the trigger. No betrayal will go unanswered, and the era of false security has ended.”

Handala, concluding as a self-described “voice of the oppressed and symbol of justice,” promised that their cyber campaign will continue with further disclosures of recorded “treacherous acts.”
