WANA (Mar 12) – The Handala cyber group announced it had infiltrated the systems of a senior intelligence official in Israel, gaining access to tens of thousands of confidential emails.

According to the group, Raz Zimmt, head of the Iran desk in Israeli security agencies, was the target of a comprehensive cyberattack. Handala said it gained access not only to Zimmt’s email inbox but also to all data linked to him. The group claims it now controls over 50,000 confidential emails, some of which it describes as “more valuable than gold.”

The leaked information reportedly includes:

  • Operational Budgets: Documents showing that Zimmt received a monthly budget of $300,000 directly funded by Mossad.
  • Overthrow Plans: Files related to projects aimed at destabilizing and undermining Iran, including operations involving Reza Pahlavi and other strategic programs.
  • Field Intelligence: Locations, reports, and identities of agents involved in surveillance and mapping of sensitive and classified Iranian sites.
  • Confidential Communications: Private emails and correspondence between Zimmt and senior Israeli security officers previously considered inaccessible.
  • Network of Collaborators: Identities, roles, and connections of Iranian collaborators linked to Zimmt. Handala claims these individuals have been arrested and interrogated, and the network built over the years collapsed overnight.

In its final message, the group warned Israeli security officials: “The era of your covert operations is over. The security you relied upon was an illusion. From this moment on, anyone who attempts reckless commentary about Iran will think twice.”

Handala emphasized that true power lies in information, and it now holds all the intelligence that was previously in Zimmt’s possession.
