Heavy U.S. Casualties in the Region Over the Past 24 Hours
WANA (Mar 07) – As Iran’s attacks on the U.S. Al Dhafra base continued, more than 220 American soldiers were reported killed or wounded.
The spokesperson for the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters announced that, as part of the ongoing large-scale offensive against U.S. bases in the region, a significant number of soldiers and commanders of the invading U.S. military were killed or injured over the past 24 hours.
The statement also said that considerable damage was inflicted on their infrastructure and resources.
According to the statement:
- 21 personnel killed and many others wounded from the U.S. Navy’s Fifth Fleet in the region.
- Around 200 killed and wounded at the U.S. Al Dhafra base.
- An oil tanker owned by the United States was targeted in the northern Persian Gulf.
