WANA (Jun 19) – Hezbollah of Lebanon, in a statement, strongly condemned the offensive threats made by officials of the Israeli regime and the United States against Iran’s Supreme Leader and described them as an insult to all Muslims around the world.

 

In the statement, Hezbollah declared: “It seems that some leaders do not understand the great and widespread position of the Supreme Religious Authority and the Leader of the Muslim Ummah, Imam Khamenei (may his shadow be extended), in Iran, the Islamic world, and among Muslim nations and freedom-seekers worldwide.”

 

Hezbollah stated that such foolish threats of assassination would have grave consequences and wrote: “Even voicing such threats is an insult to hundreds of millions of believers, supporters of Islam, and followers of the path of resistance and dignity, and we strongly condemn this act.”

 

Hezbollah emphasized: “Today, more than ever, we stand firmly with the path and positions of Imam Khamenei, alongside the heroic and noble nation of Iran, in confronting the American-Zionist aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran. It will soon become clear what kind of quagmire the U.S. will find itself in as a result of supporting the brutal aggression of the Zionist regime against Gaza, the regional resistance, and the Islamic Republic.”

 

The statement concluded: “Even if all criminals and aggressors unite, they will not be able to defeat the millions of free people in the world led by Imam Khamenei. The coming days will show that their false actions have failed and that faith and resistance will prevail.”

 

Last Friday, the Israeli regime, in clear violation of international law and Iran’s national sovereignty, launched a military attack targeting areas in Tehran and several other cities. During this terrorist attack, a number of military commanders, scientists, and civilians were killed.

 

Following this action, Iranian armed forces launched Operation “True Promise-3” against the regime.
