WANA (Oct 08) – Hezbollah Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem expressed deep appreciation for the unwavering support of the Islamic Republic of Iran, its leadership, armed forces, and people, emphasizing that the Lebanese resistance feels the backing of the entire Iranian nation.

In a televised message, Sheikh Qassem thanked the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), the Iranian people, the government, and all security institutions of Iran for their steadfast support of the resistance movement.

Sheikh Qassem stated that the achievements of the Lebanese resistance are the result of the leadership and guidance of Ayatollah Khamenei, who continues along the path laid by Imam Khomeini. “All these great victories,” he said, “have been achieved through the blessings of Iran’s support across all fields — military, educational, structural, economic, spiritual, and social.”

Reiterating his gratitude, Sheikh Qassem added: “We extend our utmost appreciation to the Islamic Republic — to the Leader of the Revolution, Imam Khamenei, to the IRGC, to the heroic and mujahid people of Iran, to the government, and to all its security forces. We truly feel that all of Iran, from beginning to end, stands with us, supports us, and gives us strength and determination.”

Referring to the recent conflict between Iran and Israel, Sheikh Qassem praised Iran’s stance in the face of the joint Israeli-American aggression, stating: “I congratulate the Islamic Republic of Iran for its legendary resilience during the 12-day aggression. You have presented an example to the world — showing how to stand firm, resist, and achieve victory through the leadership of Imam Khamenei, the unity of the people, and the dedication of the armed forces who fight with sincerity and determination. This victory will be recorded in both the present and history.”

Concluding his remarks, Sheikh Qassem criticized the renewed Western sanctions against Iran, noting: “Today, they have once again imposed sanctions. But have the sanctions ever truly stopped? Since the victory of the blessed Islamic Revolution 46 years ago, sanctions have persisted — yet the Iranian nation continues to shine ever brighter in the face of its enemies, proving that it is steadfast, courageous, and committed to the truth.”
