Hezbollah: We Are Under the Command of Ayatollah Khamenei
WANA (Mar 09) – Lebanon’s Hezbollah movement said in a statement that it remains committed to the principles of Iran’s Islamic Revolution and follows the leadership of Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Khamenei, adding that it will continue its path within the framework of these principles.
In the statement, Hezbollah referred to the ideological foundations of the Islamic Revolution and spoke of a “renewed pledge to the principles of the revolution’s imams,” emphasizing that members of the movement consider themselves committed to continuing this path. Part of the statement also referred to a pledge of allegiance to Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Khamenei.
According to the statement, armed forces affiliated with Hezbollah declared that they operate within the framework of the doctrine of Velayat-e Faqih (Guardianship of the Jurist) and under the command of Ayatollah Khamenei, describing their objective as confronting “U.S. aggression and the system of global domination.”
Hezbollah further stressed that it will continue its activities along the path of resistance and steadfastness “until the last breath and the last drop of blood,” describing this approach as part of the broader strategy of resistance in the region.
