WANA (Jun 25) – The Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) acknowledged that no one can deny Iran’s nuclear expertise and industrial capability.

In remarks made after technical inspections of some damaged sites, Grossi said: “We encountered rubble during these visits; there is even the possibility of unexploded ordnance. These inspections are not routine.”

Today, Rafael Grossi affirmed: “Iran has nuclear technical knowledge and industrial strength, and no one can deny that.”

Without directly referencing the U.S. attacks on Iran’s peaceful nuclear facilities, he said the agency cannot accept a halt in the inspection of Iran’s nuclear sites.

Grossi added that restoring the presence of IAEA inspectors at Iran’s nuclear facilities is the agency’s top priority.

He further revealed that Iran had informed the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) of protective measures for its enriched uranium stockpiles prior to recent U.S. military strikes.

Meanwhile, the spokesperson for the Iranian Parliament’s Presidium stated, referring to a new parliamentary resolution, that cooperation with the IAEA would be suspended until Iran’s nuclear rights are guaranteed.

During the U.S. and Israeli attacks on Iran’s nuclear facilities, the IAEA not only failed to condemn the strikes, but also neglected its responsibilities in this regard.

The Kremlin also announced that the Iranian Parliament’s decision to suspend cooperation with the IAEA is a direct result of the unjustifiable attack on the country.

The Kremlin further emphasized that the credibility of the IAEA has been seriously damaged following the attacks by the United States and Israel on Iran’s nuclear sites.
