WANA (Mar 09) – An informed source has described last night’s large-scale operation by Iran’s armed forces as the biggest and most destructive attack against U.S. and Israeli positions since the beginning of the conflict.

The source, outlining details of the operation, said advanced and strategic weaponry was used in the strikes. According to the source, the attacks marked the first time a large number of long-range missiles carrying warheads weighing more than one ton were deployed.

The missiles were reportedly launched toward their designated targets at speeds reaching Mach 14—more than 17,000 kilometers per hour.

The source claimed that the extreme speed and technology used in the missiles effectively made interception by advanced air defense systems, including those of the United States and Israel, impossible, and that all projectiles reached their intended targets.

The source also emphasized the unprecedented precision and destructive power of the operation, saying one of its most significant outcomes was the complete destruction of a strategic U.S. helicopter base. Camp Al-Adiri, described as a key command and logistics hub for American forces in the region, was reportedly destroyed, with damage to enemy equipment and infrastructure said to be far greater than initial estimates.

According to the source, the scale of destruction and casualties inflicted in what was described as a surprise operation has delivered a “strategic shock” to Washington and Tel Aviv and significantly altered the balance of power in the region.
