WANA (Apr 24) – International passenger operations at Imam Khomeini International Airport (IKIA) are set to resume tomorrow, Saturday, April 25, with initial flights scheduled for three major destinations.

 

Ahoura Mohammadi, Director of Public Relations for the IKIA Airport City Company, announced on Friday that the first phase of the resumption will cover routes to Istanbul, Muscat, and Beijing.

 

According to Mohammadi, the morning departures are scheduled as follows:

 

Istanbul: Iran Air will operate the inaugural flight at 6:45 AM, followed by Iran Air Tour at 9:00 AM and Mahan Air at 9:30 AM.

 

Beijing: A Mahan Air flight is scheduled for departure at 6:50 AM.

 

Muscat: Sepehran Airlines will operate a flight to the Omani capital at 11:00 AM.

 

The airport official noted that five domestic carriers—Iran Air, Iran Air Tour, Mahan Air, Sepehran, and Ata Airlines—have officially received authorization to begin ticket sales for international routes.
