WANA (Nov 02) – Abdolhossein Khosropanah, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution, announced a remarkable surge in the country’s scientific and technological progress despite ongoing sanctions. According to him, Iranian researchers have achieved the equivalent of four years of growth within just four months following the recent conflict.

 

Khosropanah stated that despite financial constraints and international pressures, Iran’s scientific advancement remains on an upward trajectory. He noted that researchers across universities, research institutes, science and technology parks, and knowledge-based companies continue to push forward with determination.

 

Addressing the impact of sanctions on international collaboration, Khosropanah said that global partnerships in science and technology persist, although the level of cooperation varies across different fields.

He also referred to the continuation of Iran’s scientific path following the deaths of several researchers in recent incidents, emphasizing that their students are now advancing that same path with renewed vigor, producing significant scientific outcomes.

 

Khosropanah highlighted that the scope of these recent achievements extends beyond military applications, covering areas such as healthcare, industry, and advanced technology. He added that current research efforts in Iran are increasingly aimed at generating practical benefits that enhance various aspects of public life.
