WANA (Mar 22) – A few hours ago, an intruding fighter jet was targeted in southern Iranian airspace.

 

According to Iran’s Joint Air Defense Headquarters, an enemy F-15 fighter jet was detected and tracked near the southern coasts of the country, around the Strait of Hormuz. The aircraft was then hit by a surface-to-air missile fired by the Army’s air defense systems.

 

The Army’s public relations office stated that investigations are ongoing to determine the fate of the targeted jet.
