Iran and Bahrain Foreign Ministers Hold Phone Talks
WANA (Dec 31) – Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi and Bahraini Foreign Minister Abdullatif Al Zayani held a telephone conversation to discuss bilateral relations and regional developments.
During the call, Araghchi voiced concern over rising tensions in southern Yemen and called on all countries in the region to work toward preserving Yemen’s unity and territorial integrity.
He emphasized that the Islamic Republic of Iran believes the Yemen crisis can only be resolved through dialogue among all Yemeni groups.
For his part, the Bahraini foreign minister stressed the importance of maintaining peace and stability in Yemen and the wider region.
Both foreign ministers expressed hope that ongoing efforts would lead to resolving existing challenges, safeguarding Yemen’s unity, and strengthening stability in the country.
