Iran, Armenia Stress Strategic Partnership During FMs’ Talks
WANA (Aug 19) – Iranian and Armenian foreign ministers highlighted the historical and strategic ties between their countries and emphasized the importance of drafting a comprehensive strategic partnership agreement.
On the sidelines of Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian’s official visit to Armenia, Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi met with his Armenian counterpart, Ararat Mirzoyan, for talks.
The two ministers stressed the significance of preparing a comprehensive strategic partnership document and expanding cooperation in political, economic, and cultural fields.
During the meeting, they also exchanged views on regional and international issues, underscoring the importance of enhancing joint collaboration in transportation, trade, and cultural relations.
