WANA (Apr 07) – The Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran has released official statement number 58, detailing a series of high-volume drone strikes conducted overnight against strategic targets in the “occupied territories”, the United Arab Emirates, and Kuwait in response to attacks on Iran’s petrochemical and infrastructure facilities.

According to the statement, drone strikes hit a power generation unit and fuel storage facility for petrochemical industries in southern Israel near the Dimona area.

The army also said it targeted a U.S. Navy maintenance and support facility at the port of Jebel Ali Port in the United Arab Emirates.

In addition, radar systems and accommodation facilities for U.S. forces at Ahmad al-Jaber Air Base in Kuwait were reportedly struck.

The statement described Dimona as a sensitive industrial and strategic area, while emphasizing the importance of the targeted sites in U.S. and Israeli military operations.

Iranian officials said the operations were carried out in response to recent attacks on Iran’s energy infrastructure and were dedicated to personnel working in the country’s oil, petrochemical, and energy sectors.

The army concluded that its forces will continue operations until what it described as “enemy aggression” ends.
